Our Hostel is one of the largest independent Hostel in New York City. The Chelsea International Hostel is located in the historic Chelsea district of Manhattan; just north of Greenwich Village and south of Midtown Manhattan (between 7th and 8th Avenues).
We have an outdoor courtyard, a common dining area and two common kitchens. Free continental breakfast is served in our dining area. You will be welcome to enjoy a variety of bagels, cereal, fresh fruits, coffee, milk and tea.
Valid passport required to check in
This policy is also valid for American and Canadian citizens. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please note that any cancellation or change must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours before arrival date, in case of NO-SHOW the total of first night of each guest will be charged onto your credit card regardless the reason. We are not responsible for weather conditions, illnesses, flight delays or flight cancellations. The 10% deposit is for each night's accommodation. If you cancel any night, then the deposit for that night will be lost.

Estuve una semana en este hostel y me ha encantado. Todo me ha parecido perfecto. La única pega que le pondría es que la calefacción estaba muy altaen las habitaciones y que me hubiera gustado poder regularla, sobre todo por la noche a la hora de dormir. Por lo demás me ha parecido todo perfecto y me he encontrado como en casa. La gente muy amable, muy limpio, y al desayuno te terminas acostumbrando. Breakfast: 1 bagel (JUST ONE PER PERSON PER DAY!) coffee milk cereals (1 kind) 1 butter (ONE PER PERSON PER DAY) 1 mermelade (ONE PER PERSON PER DAY) 1 fruit (orange OR apple, ONE PER PERSON PER DAY) I think prisons have better breakfasts. Toilets are like public restrooms at the street. Rooms are really small (your bed is just a few inches separate from your partner's.
