Parafrasando Thomas Mann, arrivare a Trapani dalla terra ferma � come entrare in una splendida reggia dalla porta di servizio, � solo dal mare che bisognerebbe giungervi per godere dell\\\\\\\'elegante inchino che la citt� porge, sotto lo sguardo dominante del Monte Erice, ad ogni imbarcazione che approda nel suo porto millenario.
Il centro storico e la zona portuale sono stati nei secoli anima e corpo della citt� di Trapani (anche conosciuta come citt� dei due mari) ed � in questo contesto che � ubicato il b&b \\\\\\\"A Babordo\\\\\\\".
Non appena fuori dal b&b vi � la possibilit� per gli ospiti di poter piacevolmente perdersi, come tra le calli veneziane, all\\\\\\\'interno del quartiere antico che con la sua struttura labirintica favorir� la casuale scoperta, oltre che dei magnifici palazzi edificati in epoche diverse, di angoli suggestivi e scorci pittoreschi.

The historic centre and the harbour area have been the heart and soul of the city of Trapani (also known as a city of two seas) for centuries, and it is in this area that our B&B is located.
Guests at our B&B stay in rooms furnished with taste and attention to detail. The property features a large kitchen and a communal terrace where you can enjoy a delicious Italian breakfast. All rooms have large windows (as do the en-suite bathrooms), from which you can admire the sea, the salt pans and the beautiful church of San Pietro.
The soundproof walls, the right level of air conditioning, the comfortable mattresses placed on wooden slat bed frames all guarantee a good night's sleep, which essential for a good start to the day. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, each room is equipped with a 22" LCD TV and Wi-Fi connection.
Just outside the B&B guests can happily lose themselves, as if in the streets of Venice, in the old quarter with its maze-like alleyways where you can discover interesting corners and picturesque views, as well as the magnificent buildings built in different epochs.
The places surrounding Ababordo offer both a source of culture to the wanderer and picturesque walkways through which you can reach beautiful beaches, with crystalline water (just 300 metres from our B&B). When the sun slowly fades on the sea and the heat gives way to a fresh northwest breeze, the old town, is filled with subtle but unforgettable Mediterranean fragrances that envelop the traveller, boding of unique dishes, sublime flavours and PDO wines.
Annalisa was born near Naples in '83. She studies at the Accademia Della Moda. She began working as a designer at some of the most important companies in the world in the sector of the production of Italian-made fashion accessories. In 2010 she decided to follow her heart which led her to discover and fall in love with Trapani. She decided to buy a house there. One day,whilst looking out of the window and seeing a sailing boat docked on the "babordo" port side of the harbour, she decided to create "Ababordo".
