Congrats, you found backpackers paradise (cf. Lonely Planet) at Wombats The Base!
This is the first Wombats and was opened in 1999 by Sascha and Marcus as a hostel by travellers for travellers.

We offer you great fun at our WomBar with daily HappyHours and special offers.
Tank yourself for the day at our all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with a huge variety for only � 3,80,-.

Explore the city on your own (get hot spots and secret recommendations from our awesome staff) or join our free walking tours (we�re the only hostel offering this service!).

There are no limits if you want to share your cooking skills with others, you can use our brand new kitchen from 12:00 lunchtime until 1:00 am 

All of our rooms are equipped with bunk beds, free bed sheets and an ensuite bathroom.
We also offer free towels & free wifi as well as some common areas.

Enjoy the sunny weather while meeting new friends on our cosy sun terrace above the bar.

Arrival is possible 24hours every day and we do accept cash and credit card for payment (visa, mastercard and maestro; minimum charge: �10,-; no extra fee for credit card payment!).

Said to be the first Wombats, the only �old� part is the house itself as we renew our interior constantly.
