City Centre is located in the very centre of Zagreb on its most beautiful street; Tkalciceva. Tkalciceva is a very vibrant and yet relaxed pedestrian street lined with cafe bars, restaurants, art galleries and stores. It is just off the main square (a brisk 2 minute walk from us) and it is only a few minutes walk from the Upper Town (Gornji Grad).

Check-in is STRICTLY from 0900-2000 (Monday to Sunday). If you are going to check-in outside of our Info Point office hours, you must contact us in advance (by email or +385 1 4828 819) so we can make arrangements. There is a 10 Euro (70 Kuna) key deposit when you check in. We accept either Kunas or Euros.
CHECK-OUT IS AT 1100! However you can safely leave your stuff in our luggage storage or with our staff (with no charge) past the check out time if you have a night train, bus or flight to catch. We just need that time to do our house-keeping chores, and prepare ourselves for the next guests.
CANCELLATIONS must be made by e-mail or by phone at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled arrival time. Otherwise, the first night is billed to your credit card.
Our accommodations are strictly a non-smoking hostel, but we provide designated smoking areas (balconies).
As we are off season, please when you arrive in Zagreb, please send an sms to 00385 91 4818542. So someone will be waiting for you.

First of all, there was no one at the reception when I arrived, even though it was reception hours and the next day the other group of people was sleeping in the corridor waiting for the receptionist. Second of all, they sent me to the other building belonging to a hostel where there were no lockers and only two showers for around 15 people. Be careful!!! We found bedbugs in our room!!! When we alerted of them, they returned us the money but then we have had a lot of problems with the bags, the tent and the sleeping bags when we arrived at home. The room was very poor, dirty, there were old things and clothes left in the drawers and furniture and small sheets. The hostel is well located in a beautiful and animated street but is very noisy.
