Good location is the only advantage. However it is very hard to look for since it's just an ordinary apartment without clear sign. Room is dark and no air condition. No cabinet in the shower room so we have to put shampoo and shower gel on the floor. We can’t flush the toilet due to tank problem. Excellent location, 10 minute walk from train station. Hostel owner Marta spoke English well and was very helpful. Got upgraded from private/shared-bath to private/ensuite without extra cost on arrival. Excellent security. Clean room. Very quite neighborhood at night. Room walls are thin. Stayed 3 nights. We enjoyed our stay at this very reasonable hostel in the centre of Florence....a very short walk from the main historical sites. Martha offered us a very warm welcome and plenty of advice as to what to see. The room was basic but had a really nice shower. Overall...we would recommend it. Benjamin, from England ~ 28th May 2012
