Everything was fine. Helpful and friendly staff. Everything was clean. There was no problem to book a trip to the Niagara Falls via the hostel. The hostel is near to a subway station, so it's easy to go downtown. But it's is also just a 15 min walk. Moreover you reach Church St in about 10 min, where many pubs are located.
