Hostel was very clean and organized. Only complaint is that there isn't a great common area for meeting other travelers just the dining area where everyone spreads out. Close to a metro stop and food stores. Bathrooms in room were convenient Audrey, from USA ~ 30th Apr 2013

It is a hostel, you get for what you paid, compare to the other places in paris, it is ok. The old lady staff in the morning for breakfast is not much friendly, however the included breakfast is buffet which is good enough. Somboon, from Thailand ~ 28th Mar 2013

It's not a bad place to stay. You definitely get what you pay for, so remember that. It's a bit out of the way and not walking distance from the center of the city or the fun sights. But if you literally just want a place to crash and sleep, this is perfect. The bathrooms are really small, but who cares? Bring your own bath towel! And remember, there is no where really safe to store your luggage. They do have a small closet on the ground floor where you can lock your luggage in if you ask nicely Rachel, from USA ~ 1st Feb 2013

Nice to have acces to wifi in the hostel, breakfast is ok if you have nothing else, but you can cook your own lunch and dinner if you want. Also there is a fridge. Plenty of room to sit and/or meet new people. The bed was ok and I really liked the atmosfere of the hostel, good memories! Really helpful at the reception as well. The hostel is outof the centre but in a pleasant area (bars, small shops, a nice park) with good transport facilities (Buses ,trams and metro nearby). The room (for 4) was small but clean ,with comfortable beds(sheets provided)and with a good clean private bathroom .The atmosphere was friendly .There were some cooking facilities ,although (my one criticism) the kitchen is rather small and not much crockery and cutlery available. Computers available with free access.I would happily return. jayne, from Italy ~ 19th Oct 2012

ARTY is an OK hostel. the staff are very good but the location is in the suburbs of paris. it is about a 2 hour walk to the center of paris so you can not get to it without metro or bus. figure out the metro system before you get to paris because taxis charge 50 euros to take you to arty hostel. ARTY should not charge 30 euros for a night the quality of the rooms does not warrant such a price but I guess that is paris for you. only come here if you can not get a room anywhere else. travis, from USA ~ 18th Oct 2012

First of all, I got lost because there weren´t clear directions to get there. When I finally arrived I had to wait for a very long time before I were acknowledged that I was present, after that seemingly there were problems with my booking but nobody explained anything to me so I was just left there standing like an idiot. There was just a blanket in my bed and I spend the night freezing and the place was just tiny. It doesn't worth the money I paid for the night!! Martha, from Mexico ~ 13th Oct 2012

No luggage storage offered so bags remained at reception in full view for hours although they did have a storage room. No lockers in rooms either but smaller lockers available at the entrance hall. Annoying having to key in a username and password everytime I logged into my laptop. No full use of the kitchen is possible as not equipped enough just small plates used for breakfast service and staff supervising kitchen very rude policing my every move when trying to use it.No much atmosphere either Raquel, from England ~ 4th Aug 2012
