Backpackers family house is a great place to stay and after travelling for 5 months staying in many different places, I´m impressed about this place. The staff is fantastic, very friendly, helpful, funny and relaxed. The hostel it self is great with good kitchen facilities, good rooms, hot showers, free wifi and computer with internet and good common areas and tv for chilling and hanging out.The free breakfast in the morning is good to get you going and a view of the pacific is 2 minute walk. The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful and the location is good. The hostel and our room was quite cold (in october). The breakfast was ok, but nothing to mention about. You could hear the noise within the hostel (talking, door bell etc) clearly at least in the room we were staying at. Pia, from Finland ~ 29th Sep 2012

In a hole it was an awesome backpacker to start your journey. You feel very comfortable there. just the shower could be better and drop a bit more water. But I'll recommend it. And its just 10min walk form the surf schools. Marc, from Switzerland ~ 23rd Jul 2012
