A hostel experience unlike any other. It is part of a chain or party hostels, if you like to party you go out, but there are also those who stay in so you won't necessarily be alone. The environment is very social and the layout makes it so, it is almost as if you are staying in a house with people because you exit your bedroom into a common area and not a hallway. The location is very good, you can walk everywhere so don't buy more than 2-4 metro tickets. Towel and linens provided. Will be back nicole, from USA ~ 10th May 2013

Carpe Noctem Vitae was my last hostel I stayed at during my spring break, and by far the best. Not only is the location great, but the people and atmosphere are even better. The staff is more than welcoming and everyone that visits just wants to have fun as well. From awesome events each night and then a relaxed atmosphere during the day, I think it is safe to say I enjoyed my stay at Vitae a little too much and will definitely be back. It's a great hostel with a great atmosphere for meeting fun people. Staff was very helpful and informed and friendly. The bathrooms were average in cleanliness... but this place is definitely worth the money and experience. All in all a good hostel! Lydia, from USA ~ 15th Feb 2013

Carpe noctem vitae is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff were super welcoming and encouraging to come out with everyone. The things that stood out to me were kitchen... Deal maker for me. Also the fact everyone knows each other, which you would never get at one of the larger hostels. Events planned every night are good fun. This hostel is top notch! Derek, from Canada ~ 3rd Dec 2012

The worst experience I had at Carpe Noctem was leaving it. The staff is amazing (they're more like very hospitable friends that you're staying with than employees) and the atmosphere is extremely relaxed everyone is just looking to have a good time and meet people. It's a party hostel, but if you want to sightsee (we did), it's totally do-able and the staff is extremely helpful with what to do/how to get there.
