I still cant believe I've paid 45 us dollars for one night at this hostel. Maybe I got a busy day, being Chinese New Year Day. I trusted the reviews and booked right away. A tiny apartment with 3 bedrooms and two washrooms. There is no proper shower space, the water jet is above the sink and toilet vase. No breakfast. The upper bed was very high and almost dangerous to fall out of the stairs. Locker wont fit a school backpack. But this was my first time in HK so all places might be like this!! The staff are fantastic always helpful, full of advice and willing to lend you small items (scissors, glue, etc) or find something for you (a hospital that would do a medical examination for my visa application!).It's in a great location, right in the middle of Hong Kong island and they have free bananas! Showers are fairly small and you drench the entire bathroom when you have one, but I think that's just typical of bathrooms here. A very enjoyable experience! Thomas, from Australia ~ 30th Jan 2013

The hostel was in good shape. There are quite a few people to a room, but that's a given in HK. Also the bathrooms are few, but cleaned pretty often. I'd complain about nothing, if it was the cheapest hostel on the market, but it is a bit pricier. Joshua, from USA ~ 11th Jan 2013

I think what made this hostel stand out from most of the other ones I've been to was the fact that the staff is very god at what they do and they almost treat you like family! Atmosphere was very open and since it's a fairly small hostel with about 40 people, it was very easy to meet new people and make new friends. Location is gold and Having access to the roof made for some relaxed nights with an amazing view if you weren't up to clubbing or hitting the bars! Ali, from Sweden ~ 25th Dec 2012

The staff were excellent, very kind and helpful during our stay. The rooms were a bit small, but it is a budget hostel. The only downside would be the showers, as the hot water ran out quickly and the drains didn't work well so you end up standing in a pool of water. Matt, from Canada ~ 6th Dec 2012

Bathroom is shared for the whole hostel. A very tiny hostel in the heart of Wan Chai, although it gets very noisy at night because its just along the main road. Jesus, from Philippines ~ 30th Nov 2012

That was our first time to stay in a hostel and I can say that this is amazingly a good place to stay with. i was able to meet people from all over the globe who are respectful with normal sleeping time and who are also nice and friendly. The staff are also kind and accommodating especially Tracy. The linens are clean and i like that they provide water with lemon and free banana and freely can help yourself get some hot water for your own coffee in the morning. The place is cozy and homey.
