I only have really good things to say about chill out cengo and my week long stay there. The staff was amaazing first of all and the atmosphere was really good and I met some cool people there. The place has a lot of charm and is in a good area close to Istanbul's awesome nightlife and Taksim sq. I will def stay at Cengo next time I visit Istanbul and can recommend others to do the same :) Nadine, from Denmark ~ 16th Jun 2012

A pretty funky, grungy, comfortable and social hostel.Rooms vary greatly, some with springy mattresses (not in the good way) and smelly pillows (time for an upgrade), others comfortable but pretty crowded.Be aware, three bed dorms are up a ladder in the attic.Going through a bit of changeover at the moment, it will be interesting to see what happens. Outstanding hostel.Not only were the rooms clean and comfortable and the environment fun but the staff there was outstanding!I have stayed in over 15 hostels on my trips to Europe this summer and have to say that your staff made it my favorite of all.Everyone was warm, welcoming, helpful and friendly.They were always available and worked hard to help everyone meet, hang out and enjoy each others company. Good a reasonably cheap hostel with a good kitchen and lockers. The beds are very close together in the dorm and they charge money for using the internet. Also the "hostel-bar" in down in the street so some people tend to drink in the dorm instead. Soeren, from Denmark ~ 18th Jul 2011
