Couple O' Days Backpackers in Surfers Paradise, Australia

It's a nice small hostel with free WIFI. wifi doesn't always work during the evening/night. The place is not so safe, everybody can walk in and out. And it was not very clean,if possible take the 8 female dorm, that's a nice room. Ingrid, from Netherlands ~ 21st Feb 2013

Arriving around 10pm the hostel said they would leave keys and bedding out for us - but hadn't.We were fairly upset but were prepared to sleep in the TV room with our bags, however we did find one of the blokes worked there and got us our room key by 1am. The staff were a bit apologetic but tried to shift blame on everyone but themselves.The shared bathroom was old & a bit dirty but okay. Definately not worth $38 AUD per night but bearable.Good for location but certainly not for comfort! Katie, from Australia ~ 13th Nov 2012
