We arrived early to the hostel, and the staff was nice enough to let us into our room. They cleaned it really quick so we could put our stuff down and said they'd clean better when we were done (which they did.) The staff was more than happy to help us out with directions and gave us a free map and showed us how to get to the major sites. The internet is free. The kitchen is nice with everything you need to make your own food. Jen, from USA ~ 8th Feb 2012

A good place to stay if you're wanting to be close to the Union Square area. The bed I was in was unfortunately not all that comfortable it was quite stiff. And the pillow was tiny. But it worked. The staff were very nice and helpful, and they even gave me a room to myself for most of the time I was there, which was nice. There's a shuttle service to SFO for only $9, which is really convenient. Breakfast consists of bagels and toast, and there's also bread and peanut butter and je Laura, from USA ~ 29th Nov 2011

The lounge is great, and the staff at night were very friendly. The shuttle service was right on time, took half as long as the BART, and was only a couple dollars more including a tip. One morning two of the toilets were clogged, but there was a third toilet in the room so it was okay. Breakfast was various types of bread and various types of jam, peanut butter, etc. The bed was very squeaky, but that may be normal in hostels. This was my first dorm style hostel experience and it went well. Jillian, from USA ~ 24th Nov 2011

The Kitchen was the highest plus and the guy down there organizing the breakfast, too. (WAS the greatest!, seriously) But the they didn't have a lot organize or mapped out for tourist beyond here your map. Showers and beds were the typical hostel type. Dennis, from USA ~ 15th Dec 2011
