We were hugely impressed with Dar Jameel and will certainly stay there again if we return to Tangier! The location was ideal - close to the market (Gran Socco) and the beach - the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were gorgeous. I would certainly pick this hotel/hostel over a "5 star rated" hotel on the beach. Dar Jameel is authentic, charming, and very secure. I recommend it to any type of traveler! I was there a few weeks ago and loved every moment! The place is spectacular and the people that work there are amazing. Super helpful and can help guide you around the city. I highly recommend Dar Jameel. P.S. The breakfast is great too! Maya, from Canada ~ 15th Jun 2012

The staff went above and beyond with their jobs. Everyone was extremely helpful and were completely open about what we should see, do and what to expect. We found a lot of great places nearby. Our only complaint was the location-it was sightly hard to find and late at night, it was a somewhat sketchy area. The breakfast was delicious, the room spacious, everything was charming.
