This hostel is AWFUL!Would never stay there again!They don't have a reception, it's just the pub counter.The pub had a grade "0" at higenic review.There's no kitchen, the tv is in the room, the internet is extremely bad and slow.The showers were so disgusting, flooding and with hair everywhere.I had a cold shower the 1st day because there was no hot water left at 8am!They have a big furry dog leaving fur everywhere.Breakfast was bad, old croissant and jam with euroshopper juice.DON'T STAY THERE! It nice centrally located close to London Bridge. Place is quirky and staff are very friendly and helpful. A nice quiet hostel. Super-duper clean rooms - bunk beds have curtains accross for maimum privacy. Also have a computer and flat screen tv in the room A small fridge as well which could be useful. I would go back again! i stayed at a couple of different hostels in London, and this was by far the best. very friendly and helpful staff, impeccably clean and secure, and a nice bar downstairs. very close to tube and Borough Market. fast and reliable internet (good wifi in the rooms), which is really handy if you have to do work. would strongly recommend and will stay here every time i return to london. This hostel was the first one I stayed in during my 3-week trip to Europe - and the most comfortable and relaxing. Memory foam beds with curtains were fantastic, showers bright and clean, plenty of secure storage space, etc. But most of all it's the staff that made all the difference - Charles & Co go out of their way to make sure you feel at home, and everything is working. BTW, don't be dismayed by the midnight-7am lockout - with prior notice you can get a key to let yourself in after hours. Maxim, from USA ~ 27th Jun 2012

The Hostel is very nice because the furniture in the rooms are really new, and having a curtain for sleep is also excellent. The only thing I thought was a bit complicated is the bathroom. You only have 2 showers, 2 toilets and 2 sinks for everybody. Plus, you don't have a door to close when you are using the sink. Other thing it was not that good is that the water was not flowing in the shower place, getting accumulated in the floor. Apart from that, the rest was really awesome.
