the staff (aga, anna, nick & gregory are the friendliest i ever met throughout my travels. they did everything possible to make each guest's stay very comfortable. i definitely recommend this hostel to anyone going through krakow.

We stayed here 21.-24.6.08 and had such a great time :) If we'll ever visit Krakow again (sure we will) we'll definately book a bed from Elephant on the Moon. We highly recommend it!!!

We had a great time in the Elephant on the Moon, it was the first hostel we stayed in on are three week trip around europe- and it was one of the best. The staff were amazing, really helpfull and great fun.

Fantastic hostel, it should be in Lonely Planet. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfasts, free tea, coffee & internet, free treats every day (strawberry cake or smoothies etc). They even gave us a free packed lunch for the train journey! The only downside is the distance from town however it is easy to catch the tram from just around the corner directly into the centre or it is a really pleasant walk along the riverside. I would recommend this hostel to anyone!

I have done a lot of traveling and this is the best place I have ever stayed in! Apart from the comments that other people have made (clean, friendly, quiet, comfortable etc) there are a few things that make this hostel stand out:
1. It is small (max 14?) and therefore feels more like you're staying in a home than a hostel.
2. The people who work here go the extra mile to make it a happy, friendly environment
3. Not just free (yummy!) breakfast but free use of all the food all the time
