Only one switch for the lights at the ceiling at the entrance of the room... Noisy! Not very clean (don't look to the corner, if sleeping in the upper bed!!!). The lockers were damaged and the locks broken. But a cheap place to stay for one night in the heart of Glasgow! Breakfast was very nice!!! :)

I booked and was charged for a night in your hostel using Hostels.com, Euro Hostel in Glasgow would not recognize the reservation and told me they were full. They also would not help to retrieve the money that was paid to Hostels.com, saying it was not their problem. I still have not been refunded any money from Hostels.com. Why are you allowing other companies to sell beds for your Hostel that are not available. This is very annoying, and the fact that Euro Hostel refuses to take any sort o

Walking distance to bus/train station. Rooms are good, what I would have expected for a hostel. Friendly staff. I like the bar on the main floor. Very convenient. Lots of people were staying there, made for a very nice visit.

Not quite what I expected from the previous reviews I read! It was a really uncomfortable experienc,e in fact. The mattress was very uncomfortable, imagine that you have to sleep in a half pipe! The walls seem to be made out of paper as well as the windows, you could hear everything, loud and clear.
And the two times I asked the staff something, they seemed to be very uninterested.
Not my favourite place!

This place was huge - like a large hotel except with much dingier rooms and only 1 working elevator to serve 9 floors. The common areas are quite impersonal, with euro-techno blasting the whole time. The windows in the room could not be kept open nor be completely shut, which was frustrating when the birds squawked all night and the air got stale in the morning. Otherwise, nice facilities, and special compliments for breakfast.

The guy at the front desk was endlessly helpful. He helped me out with everything I needed, and was incredibly friendly. The bar seemed to provide really good atmosphere, and I recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a quality experience.
