A fantastic hostel! It prefers to call itself a guesthouse, as opposed to a hostel, and it is very different to all other hostels I've ever stayed in - beds are single beds, as opposed to bunk beds, and we had a beautiful painted ceiling in our room dating from the Ottoman period. The whole place is very beautiful, the breakfast that is included is AMAZING, and they serve free hot drinks, fresh fruit and cakes! :D Thomas, from England ~ 2nd Apr 2013

One of the best places we've ever been to! Highly recommended. The breakfast is of a fancy hotel type not to mention delicious free cake, soup, tea and coffee all day every day. If we ever come back to Nazareth we know where we're going to stay. Igor, from Croatia ~ 10th Jan 2013

From a senior traveler. The Fauzi Azar Inn is a very unique and special place. The staff goes out of their to make one feel at home and the old city of Nazareth has a quiet calm about it.This is in contrast to the tensions one can feel in other parts of the Middle East. There is always coffee and cake available (or a beer) and it is a place that encourages conversation and dialogue between the guests and the local community. Maurice, from USA ~ 13th Sep 2012
