The staff is great!They gave us wonderful suggestions and tips on things to do.While the location may look far outside the city, it's perfect.The Metro allows you to access the whole city in minutes and the staff gave us tips on which lines to use. Anna, from USA ~ 6th Mar 2013

I cannot say enough good things about Garden House!! So many of the staff went above and beyond their job to be helpful, accomodating, and even helping when certain ones of us had too much to drink in La Ramblas and coming back not feeling so well. I am amazed at this staff, this location, the beauty and uniqueness of the place. Everything about it is perfect!! I would recommend this place to anyone, and say I'd rather do this than a hotel. Después de pasar unos días inolvidables en el Garden House Hostel de Barcelona, creo que no volveré a ir a un hotel nunca más. La calidez y la amabilidad del personal, el carisma y la belleza del lugar y las instalaciones, el "feeling" en general hacen que uno quiera volver una y otra vez. It is trully a cosy place to relax after a long day of doing the sights. It's a quiet hostel, so you will have no problems sleeping a full night. Facilites are just great, bathrooms are big enough, kitchen is very well equiped and free food section is a great idea. The downsides are location - it's 15 min ride with tube to the center and atmosphere. Incredibly friendly staff who were relaxed, welcoming from the very start. No rush for the check-in, we were invited to sit back and relax while they were processing things, and the place is great.
