Nice place to stay. Staff are kind and helpful. located in calm place which I prefer. Lijiang can be very cold, but they have electronic blankets which are free. Hojun, from South Korea ~ 10th May 2013

Garden Hostel is tucked away in the narrow streets of the Old town. It's a nice location if you just want to chill out away from the noise of the new town. It took me a long time to find the hostel as the staff member couldn't direct me. When I arrived I was warmly greeted. The mixed 4 bed dorm is very basic but generally clean. The showers were hot when I was there but there is a notice to say there may be none (I think this is just an old town thing). The staff were helpful in planning my 2 Kelly, from Scotland ~ 9th Feb 2012

Very nice place,well located far from the crowd.Quiet,a nice commun room with a little fire place. They have big thermos and kettle for hot water,just make sure the inside is clean (our wasn't). CAroline, from Canada ~ 31st Dec 2011
