Guesthouse Chlumova was a terrific place. Cliff and Nadia were fun and helpful, and the entire experience was great. Clean and ample bathrooms and a well maintained kitchen made it easy to get going in the morning. The Tram stop was 3-4 minutes away, and it was a 5-7 minute ride to Wenceslas Square(Vaclavske Namesti) and a trip through the ages. The neighborhood around the Guesthouse was urban safe, and the main street was lined with restaurants, green grocers, bakeries, coffee shops, butcher

A very dusty and greasy appartment with trashy furniture and kitchen. Besides the sheets nothing was cleaned. Of course we mentioned this, they promissed to clean, but in the end we stayed 4 days in a very dirty appartment. Too bad there wasn't a broom or vacuumcleaner otherwise we did it ourself. Now every morning the four of us woke up with a running nose and red eyes because of the dust. Too bad.
The location on the other hand was okay, 20 minutes walking from the old town. Of course Prague

Loved it, great place. Wickely cool owners, 10 minute walk from the city, cheap places to eat nearby, supermarket and tram nearby. Loved it and will visit again.

I really like this hostel. It has some real character and personal touch to it. Great location. Around the corner from everything you need and only a 15 minute walk from the heart of Prague. Clean, tidy and very cozy.

What a beautiful hostel this was to stay at. The rooms are very spacious and clean. They're decorated with a personal touch - this wan't just any old generic hostel. Great location - around the corner from a great club - XT3 and the supermarket - we'll definitly stay there again.

We had planned to stay three nights in Prague in hostel Chlumova, which even a taxidriver had trouble to find ;-). But they had some plumber's work going on there and gave us instead one of their really lovely apartments near Wenceslas Square (500m to walk) which had an own bathroom included and a small kitchen to be shared with other guests. This was actually the best that could have happened to us! Nadia drove us there and gave us some advice about the city.
All in all, very nice place to st

We had a lovely stay at Cliff and Nadia's guesthouse. They are welcoming and friendly (and will spot you a drink of Becherovka if you're lucky). The other guests are a mix of backpackers and students, who are always up for communal barbeques and czech beer drinking sessions and if you're lucky, Julian might get his guitar out... The rooms are colourful and clean, often decorated with artwork and Nadia's photos. Overall, a great place to stay whether you are a lone traveller, group or a couple li

We had a lovely time at Guesthouse Chlumova. Nadia and Cliff were excellent hosts and made us feel more like returning friends than transient guests.
