Hostal El Pelicano in Montanita, Ecuador

We came, we saw the room, we then left and moved into a beautiful hostel down the beach. The rooms were basically living in a tree house. There is no "wall" , only planks of wood that have gaps between them. The mattresses in the rooms were dirty and there were bugs in the ms due to the nature of the walls. I am by no means a fancy guy, however, this place should be avoided if you do not like a clean environment. For 10 bux a night, save your money. Glen, from Canada ~ 20th May 2013

el peor hostel que fui en mi vida, por distintas razones, empezando por que en la recepcion no habia nadie desde la tarde hasta la mañana del siguiente dia (si necesitabas algo jodete) los baños sucios y sin agua caliente, las habitaciones con arañas y muy poca luz, la cocina muy sucia y sin utencillos mas qque dos ollasy 4 platos....
