Hostel One Paralelo in Barcelona, Spain

As a solo traveler, I couldn't have asked for a better hostel.The group dinners were a great way to meet fellow travelers and plan activities for the following day.All of the staff members were very friendly and were extremely helpful.If you ever had a question, they would take the time to share all the knowledge they have and gave other useful suggestions.I am planning on coming back to Barcelona during the end of my travels, and I have already booked a room for my return. Best atmosphere ever! The guys from staff work hard to make the best possible environment for guests. There is this wonderful diner every night which enables you to socialize and get to know everybody. I don't recommend the walking tours from the hostel though, since Pauline the tour guide is not nice and might be rude to you at times. But this is just a little detail. The best hostel Ive stayed. Location is excellent, daily dinners are awesome but the main thing is the staff. You guys are the thing that makes the place so great. Hostel One @ Paralel made my stay in Barcelona that much more memorable.Being a first timer in Barcelona, I was looking for a hostel that would guide me throughout my stay in the city.This hostel did that and so much more.Angel, the manager of the hostel was extremely knowledgeable with Barcelona, and gave each guest detailed tips on where to go / what to see, and made sure that our stay in the city was a memorable one.I can honestly say he can be the ambassador to Barcelona ) Eleanore, from USA ~ 28th Jan 2013

Every staff working at here are very friendly and kind. They often hang out with other mates including staff to bar, night club or soccer. We can use wifi everywhere in the hostel. Kaito, from Japan ~ 9th Jan 2013
