Friendly reception, excellent well thought out recommendations of places to see and eat to really help you enjoy your stay. No wifi. Walk from bus not impossible but not easy with heavy rolling bag. Definitely recommend backpacks rather than wheels! Narrow steep stairs to 4 dorm and private room. Kitchen ok to use at night, but was still locked at 9am on the morning I left. People told me the hostel is far away, it isn't! I walked from the bus stop, through town, to the hostel, in about 15mins. The view from the deck is amazing and the beds quite cozy. I sort of felt like I was in the Shire, for any nerds out there. Highly reccomended. Keri, from USA ~ 7th Jul 2011

amazing location with great views, walking distance to everything but in a nice quiet part of town. staff were very friendly and helpful, the map she gave me on arrival was excellent. i had a four bed dorm to myslef, so it's a little hard to comment on atmosphere... megan, from Australia ~ 16th Jun 2011

Hostel Skippy is really cozy and nice place. It has really nice terrace which you can enjoy the river anytime. However, it's a bit far away from bus station so if you are carrying big luggage, you might have hard time to get there. Except the location, I liked it everything there.
