The couple of nights I spent there were very comfortable and pleasant. Obviously, I would have to say that location is really not the best, and for those of us who enjoy the night-life of Amsterdam, and later taking the bus, the hostel isn't quite as visible as you would think. Other than that, everything is relaxed, I would go again and suggest it to friends.

Hey homes! The easiest way to get here is the tram, and then quite a walk in a straight line or the bus, both of which go from right near the station. Pretty good location with shops and stuff, but not anything really fun, as it was outside the city centre.

I did not feel safe in the first room that I was in, and asked to be moved. After I was switched to a room far down the hallway, things got much better. I guess it's the nature of those that come to the city, but we got thrown in with some weirdos at the beginning. They were also smoking cigarettes in the room which was supposedly forbidden. If the hostel had better security measures and were cleaner, it would have greatly improved my experience. Also, the staff could have stood to be a lit

It is quite far from downtown Amsterdam, about a 20 minute tram ride - but at least the tram stop is right in front of the hotel. Our room was clean, a TV with cable in the room, the beds were comfortable, there was some street noise but it was bearable and expected, and they offer complementary breakfast and internet access. FYI - marijuana smoking is prohibited anywhere on the property. Next time I come to Amsterdam I will stay someplace closer to the action, though.

check in was a bit late (had to wait until 15:30) so most of our day was gone. when you only stay overnight a few hours count a lot.

We would like to say that we were suprised over that it was so good at it was.The male staff in the reception was nice and most helpfull to us.we enjoyed our visit in the hostel.Breakfast was good.We can recomend this hostel to other´s.

i have stayed at numerous hostels, and this is BY FAR the worst one i have ever been to. it is very far away from anything interesting in the city. they are way overpriced. the staff is rude and unprofessional (even going to the point of telling customers to f*ck off). i observed them giving away multiple customers' reservations for no reason at all. and they try to steal your money and then proceed to blame you when you point this out. you'd be better off sleeping in the train station tha
