Great location, right in the Red Light District and a 10 minute walk to the central train station. The hostel is on top of a bar, but despite the music downstairs, it is nice and quiet (and we were on the 1st floor). There is 24 hour reception, free WiFi, and the room was clean and the bathroom seemed brand new. You also get discounts on food and drinks at the bar downstairs. Dennis, from USA ~ 2nd Jun 2013

The hostel location is just really good .... overall its a great place to stay .. secure, clean and good atmosphere. The staff at times can seem to be uninterested in attending to you ... but besides that part i have only positive things to say.. for the price, its definitely worth it. Its a great place bunks are clean and comfortable enough. If your very tall you may have your feet off the end. NO KITCHEN and eating in Amsterdam gets expensive. Location is great, aside from the church bells at all hours of the day, i couldn't really understand the bells. They do not ring on the the quarter hour. 5% credit-card charge!!!! Something went wrong with those guys. I've never faced such a high rate at a "hotel". Booked 8-people room - got 10-people room. Condition of room was not that good - no towels provided - except for the last day of a 3-night-stay. Location is the best of this hostel. Martin, from Germany ~ 29th Dec 2012
