We had an excellent stay and were welcomed politely at 1:30am. The only problems we had were lost in translation. Neither of the hosts seemed to speak any English so when we asked what the password for wi-fi was, they had no answer, so we didn't get to have internet. Also when it came time to purchase for the one night, I thought it would go directly on the card I provided Hostels.com (which was already charged partially), but it did not. Cockroaches and bugs, no air conditioning despite the info saying there was air conditioning. Shared bathrooms that were not clean. However, the management was VERY friendly and helpful and the hostel was incredibly cheap... although the cleanliness of our room was indicative of how little we paid. Thomas was a huge help when we were there and is a really nice guy.The other two people working were also very nice, but didn't speak much English.The hostel is pretty basic, but for a short stay, it does the trick and is worth your money.It is located only a block or two way from Omonia station, and from there traveling around Athens is quite easy.
