The staff here is extremely impolite and has no clue what customer service is. They have a second location 10 minutes walking from the main building (they claim it's a 5 min walk, which is non sense). And while I wanted to stay in the main building they booked my room in the one 10 minutes away. Without asking me or telling me in advance! Then there is the size of the 1 bed private room: photo scam! Not the one you see in the picture! It's extremely small, barely enough for 1 bed. Ajmal, from Netherlands ~ 3rd Jun 2013

It was my second time in London, first time at this hostel. I will go back to the city soon and I'm sure I'm staying with them again. Great location, staff is really fantastic and helpful. One of the best accomodations you can find in London, if you don't want to spent a lot of money. A lot of trouble sometimes in the entrance hall. Sometimes toilets and showers are on an other floor than the rooms. Michael, from Germany ~ 7th Jul 2012

The International Student House has TWO locations! It is VERY IMPORTANT to stipulate that you stay in the "main" building. The main building is very nice, modern, and the location is decent. However, unbeknownst to us we were in the "second" building. The other building is old, dirty, has very limited facilities, and is in a worse location.
