Kokaburra Inn was the ideal accommodation for my wife and I very convenient location and good premises and stuff. It has also a good atmosphere for mature travellers who are looking for a good value for money at a calm and cosy accommodation. Abel, from Brazil ~ 6th Feb 2013

A friendly establishment that caters for all sorts, including the more "mature" traveller. Staff are helpful, you only have to ask. A bit off the beaten track for the average backpacker, and therefore a quieter establishment. Recommended if all-night partying is not your thing. I love it. Peter, from England ~ 10th Oct 2012

The Hotel is located in a quiet street, very close to the centre, transports, supermarkets and also car rentals. We stayed 1 night in May, so I guess the period wasn't that busy and we basically had the shared bathroom and shower only for us, as well as the kitchen. Common spaces and our room were really clean, although a bit small and old fashion. Generally good value for money and recommendable accommodation. daniela, from Italy ~ 21st May 2012

The Kook is a small boutique hostel in the Spring Hill area.... only a 10 minute walk to the action down town or to the Central RR and bus stations. I had a single room at a very reasonable price.There is nothing special about the rooms....the the basics of what one needs to crash for an evening. The staff of one was very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a budget room in a very quiet setting, this if for you.If you are looking for party action, you will want to go elsewhere Robert, from USA ~ 16th May 2012
