I stayed at Controra for a week and I enjoyed my stay because of the atmosphere the very helpful staff the very good price and the sufficient breakfast for that price.Ireccommend itwithout hesitation evangelia, from Greece ~ 1st May 2013

The staff here is amazing and very helpful! The atmosphere is nice, and there are people that like to stay awake and talk, and others that go to bed early. Our room was very clean, even with 7 other people. The breakfast was delicious, cereal, toast, coffee (the basics).Our only problem was the distance from the train station, the hostel is a good 40 minute walk from the train station, but there are metros that run close by. On the other hand, they are only a 15 minute walk from "pizza street" Jacquelyn, from USA ~ 31st Mar 2013

I had a great time in M&J Hostel. Everything was pretty close to the hostel, I didnt have to take subway, bus or taxis to get to the main destinations. The staff was very open and friendly, they were very helpful all the time. Christhian, from Nicaragua ~ 10th Nov 2012

WiFi only works in the communal areas, which can get loud sometimes. Location is a bit out of the way too, but its a great hostel for hanging around at the end of the day. Nice atmosphere too John, from USA ~ 25th Jun 2012
