Stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom. Beautiful view of the city from the spacious room. We didn't spend time hanging out at the hostel lounge although it seemed nice. The location is perfect and I never felt unsafe walking around at night. Down the street is a friendly neighborhood bar called "Uschis" and one store down from there is a cool boutique. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Being the only hostel in Nuremberg, it could easily get away with skimping, so I had pretty low expectations. However, it was pretty clean and the location is unbeatable. For the things in the old town, especially, you can just walk from the hostel. I had a few problems with the place. First of all, there were no locks on the room doors. Second, the advertised free internet is one rather slow computer in the lobby and the advertised free tea and coffee is often empty/cold. Third, there a

Great location and good place to socialise and meet people. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Not the best facilities but it was a good stay.
