The location is good, the brakfast excellent. The bathroom in the room was really good. I just didn't like to pay for internet (they don't have wireless). but it was a good experience for the weekend.

The place was a decent hostel, no better. It was clean and close to all the sights, but by no means in a good neighborhood. Keep in mind that the price you see isn't the same as the price at the register; you will pay about ten dollars more per night. I should also mention the place lacks any real character. It's simply a bed for a night.

This hostel is very well located, though quite noisy since it is very close to the eighth avenue. The room are small and quite oldish, beds are rough at best. But well this is new york, so expensive that unless you pay much more you won't get any better then that. However, it is a youth hostel and they really shouldn't try to make money from pretty much everything, (for example 4 bucks for a 24 hours locker). Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. The double room I stayed has good facilities and clean, although the size is very small. The public area of the inn is also small, so there is not much fun going on. However, I enjoyed the free pizza party on Tuesday afternoon, and the electric lockers for large baggage are very useful. It is a pity that there is no elevator at all, even if you need to carry a large heavy bag up to the third floor via a long and narrow staircase.
