Very cute and nicer than the usual hostel. Rooms are tiny, but who cares. Big common area and kitchen, clean bathrooms and showers. Very nice staff. The place really seems much more like a budget boutique hotel than a hostel. I'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hostel. A very reasonably priced, clean, comfortable and friendly place in a darned expensive city. The closet-sized lockers in every room are particularly nice.

I reserved a 4 bed room online. I received an 8 bed room. I was given a key to a locker in my room that didn't work. I showed the receptionist and she told me I was out of luck because they were completely booked, but I was one of the first few to arrive and the other lockers were not in use yet. She later gave me a key to a different locker after a cancellation, but that locker could be opened just by pulling on the bottom of it slightly. My husband and I really enjoyed the hostel. It is nice to see hostels that older people can go and stay at. We liked the cupboards(in the room) that could lock and we would have our own key to unlock it. I would recommend this hostel in Bergen to anyone coming for a holiday. I especially liked the area it was because it was close to everything we needed.

WOULD RECOMMEND!!!! well, our first time in a hostel and was very impressed. double room was adequate with 2 single beds pushed together, desk and 2 chairs, and lockable wardrobe. kitchen was more than good, amazing loads of utensils ect, modern oven (supermarket less than 2 mins away). showers and toilet excellent and clean. staff are great, they are there between 9-6 most days. very well located in central bergen 5-10 minutes walk from most locations. loce the lift with the 1936 safety certifi
