I have arrived to the Hostel after thre days hiking and hitchhiking with 25`kgs backpacks, a broken tent, exausted from the luck of water in the sun, the welcome, the stay was like a paradise. The only two negative points were that once I closed the door of the bathroom I had to ask for someone to open that. the common facilities are comparable to that a 5 star hotel. However in the room the air conditioning (that was vital as we travelled on August) was notadjustable by guests. This was very uncomfortable because our room was very very small and air conditioning was icy and windy. The only problem we had with the hostel was the rudeness of one of the staff members (a bald pasty guy). This ,however, was made up by another male member of staff who went out of his way to help us out as much as possible. The hostel did advise us that we could book on a bus from Masada to Eilat with ease the following day but in fact when we tried to book it was full so I would advise to book any buses straight away no matter what they tell you!!
