I had a very pleasent time staying at the Maverick hostel. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. Great location and very good organisation of the hostel. Best place to stay in Budpaest for a low price and great atmosphere. Paulina, from Poland ~ 27th Feb 2013

This is the perfect hostel. It's immaculate, located in a gorgeous and extremely secure building, with lockers (though not for your whole bag, just the essentials like laptop, passport, etc.). The bathroom was the most impressive bathroom I've ever seen in a hostel, same with the lounge and kitchen. Really beautiful place to stay. Nice beds/atmosphere too. Our train to Budapest arrived earlier than we expected, and even though Maverick was booked full, the staff called other hostels and apartments in the area and let us use the computer to look up other hostels in the neighborhood.They went out of their way to make sure we had a place to stay for the night.The location can't be beat, and the facilities were very clean and comfortable. excellent hostel. I had just 1 night in Budapest, but I found everything I needed in a most impressive 19th century building. And no bunk beds in my room!
