It was overall a nice stay for the money. But don't expect a hostel atmosphere. It's like a family house, a bit creepy. I missed more bathrooms and good size lockers (these are tiny, barely fit a backpack, and they stay near the kitchen, none on the rooms). It is about a 30 minutes walk to downtown. But it's close to the bus and train terminals where you get to the city. Breakfast is really simple, like toasts and coffee/juice only. But it's fine for the price. I would stay there again. This hostel was just perfect. The location is perfect, it is just a walk from 10 or 15 minutes to the niagara falls. If you wan to walk to the canadian site, you just need about 20 oder 25 minutes. The hostel is decently clean with sturdy beds and enough bathrooms. A light breakfast is served each morning which was nice.There was plenty of seating and a small TV. Also, the parking lot out back was a great feature. My only problem is that the only way of gaining access to the hostel after midnight is to call the owner and let him know you're arriving. This place is a littile far form the Niagara. About more than 15min by walk. I don't know where is the hostel's free parking place. I parked on the street. And there was no signature of the hostel. I was hard to find it. And the length of the bed was small to me. My height is 178 cm. I couldn't sleep conviniently. But the plasc was clean and the staff was friendly.
