While the hostel is located next to the tube station, we did not feel safe walking back to the hostel. There were people hanging around the entrance and the hostel did not open until 15 minutes before check out the next day. I would not recommend this hostel. While cheap it is not worth it. It is the best value for money in London. TIP:Take the bus because it is located in Metro zone 3, and it will add up. Just take 6 and 98 to a metro station and enjoy the ride. Bus stop is just across the street. Kitchen is good. Showers are not so good. However, if U R smart, u will use the ones on the ground floor, they are GOOD. This hostel is not great BUT if you are trying to save money in accomodation, STAY IN N8. Reviews are not fair. The hostel is better than portrayed here. Very dirty, there were flies in my room. The bathroom sinks were overflowing in the morning because they didn't drain. The neighborhood was bad. The staff was friendly and there were free computers. Jessica, from Canada ~ 1st Jun 2012

This hostel was actually pretty good - except for it was dirty. Or no, it wasn't just dirty, it was filthy. The sheets were pretty much the only clean thing in this place (thanks God!). The staff was nice and the dorm was big enough and built on a clever way in smaller groups of four beds. The location wasn't very central but it was only some 5 minutes walk from the closest subway station (Dollis Hill on zone 3). The area itself wasn't the nicest but felt pretty safe.
