We stayed here four days during national holiday, and I have only good things to say about this place (except for little water in the shower).The guy running the place is extremely helpful and will give you some good advice about the area. He also helped us buy tickets back to Kunming(something that can be a bit of a hassle in China) and arranged a trip to Tiger Leaping Gorge. It’s cozy and clean, and they serve great western breakfast. Schuhe is also a bit less crowded, and as or maybe nice t Thea Marie, from Norway ~ 7th Oct 2012

Very quiet, clean and good located hostel. Land lady practise budism, so if you are fancy exciting atmosphere, it is not the place to go. They are very friendly but they dont like you come back late ( after 12pm for example). Yunlong, from China ~ 11th Aug 2012

This was one of the best hostels I stayed in (11 altogether) during my month-and-a-half tour of China.It's in a great location, with a knowledgable and friendly staff, excellent rooms and a peaceful atmosphere.Likely your best bet for staying in the Lijiang area. Alex, from USA ~ 27th Jul 2012

Nomad is a lovely place to stay. Very clean, nicely furnished, intimate hostel, where stuff was really friendly and helpfull. Its situated in Shuhe, which is much more pieceful and charming than Lijiang itself. They can help you to arrange any trip you wish and if you arent interested in trying local restaurants you can enjoy homemade meal and great coffee here:) Probably the best place we have stayed in China.
