We stayed only one night, however they were very helpful when we were planning out our next days journey. Close to the main center (2 blocks), internet access for free, nice included breakfast, and free luggage storage (to hold extra stuff while you head for Machu Picchu). It was cold and rainy the night we were there, but the bed had plenty of covers to stay warm.

They do not have wi-fi, nor does the Pirwa in MachuPicchu;both claim to have it. Showers r great (5min wait 4 hot water, but worth the wait!). Shower curtain is too small, so ur naked body can be see by all in hostel if they pass by at right time. COLD AT NITE! Nice staff, tho not problem-solvers.

I wish hostels had an option for rating bathrooms! everything was great about this hostel except for the painful shower where it took some 10 minutes to get hot water!

The stay at the hostal was ok... except on the second day I was there the computers had something wrong with them that made everyone´s room and bed numbers messed up. That would have been fine, but the staff chose to rely only on the computers, thus moving people around every day and sometimes twice a day, sometimes in the same room just to a different bed. I moved beds, and then in the middle of a nap the staff asked me to move rooms. I had a reservation and aruged for about 10 minutes until

Really happy with Pirwa, staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Wish I could have stayed longer. Met good people and had a lot of fun. Only negative was that the hot water in the showers was a bit random, but it is only a minor criticism. Perfect location in my opinion.

Early morning showers had hot water. I used my sleeping bag at night to be warm enough to sleep well.
We are really sorry for the inconvenient, we already made changes to improve our service, we do care a lot of the opinion of our guests, thanks for all and again sorry. Hide Owner CommentsRead Owner Comments Nanette, from USA ~ Feb 1 2008
