The camping ground was awesome. The pool area was so much fun and there was live music playing every night we were there.

For accomodation at this price you can't grumble. This place has more to offer than you might expect, but is not central. Public transport is easy to use however, if you are ok with this form of travel. Pool area is spacious and well maintained. Not being Aussie backpackers, we were significantly outnumbered and had to deal with noise from groups at night, though not excessive. Air con and fridge in en-suite accomodation made stay very comfortable for price.

Very nice and recommendable, the only disadvantage was, that it was (like the airport shuttle bus or the camp's restaurant) a little bit too expensive for us.

I have stayed here a few times, if you have a bigger group as in say 5 or so, you can get a Chalet, it is the best and cheapest way to stay in Rome for big groups, the price is usually 115 euro a night, but thats for all 5. This place has everything at the site, a little store, restaurant, laundry, internet, swimming pool and jacuzzi, poolside bar and volleyball. The chalets have two baths and kitchens. The downside is that its a little far away from the city and also that the checkout time i

I really enjoyed my stay at Plus Camping Roma, except I was a little upset with the way how they dealt with me for not showing up on the first night. I booked for the July23 and July24, but because I missed my flight, I couldn't make it on the 23rd, so I arrived on the 24th, but stayed for another extra day which is the 25th. But they charged me for 3 days. I emailed them first thing when I missed my flight, they should be a little more lenient on that. I know it should be 24 hours notice, b

Fairly decent place, cheap but a little out of town, takes around 40 mins to get to rome and its a bit of trouble to get back to after 12pm

We loved Camping Roma and are looking forward to staying at the other campsites in Venice and Rome. The public transportation is not a problem if you take the 247 (in front of the site)which comes every 20 minutes. We found it easier though to just take the Vatican shuttle which takes you to the center of pretty much all the tourist sites. It is a round trip ticket that will drop you off and pick you up for only the 3 euro amount. The all day pass is 4 euro but honestly you only get to visit

Its a little out of the way, but defintely doable! The staff was helpful. We stayed in a tent, and it wasnt as nice as some of the other tents we have stayed in with PLUS, but all the same, the price was right. The bathrooms were gross tho, it always smelled and there was rarely toilet paper.

Overall great place to stay in, big area, and very clean. Nice that they had "take away" so if you didn't feel for eating out in a restaurant you could order home. Though it was a bit off, you had to take the bus for 10 min or so and then the metro to get into Rome. Public bathrooms were cleaner than usual. Although, if you book a bungalow and your neighbours are up late you will certaily feel the whole thing shaking..
