Great place to stay in Madrid, very helpful staff

We tried to cancel our reservation but they won't let us because of a policy that they had which was different from what was posted here on Hostels.com. We went anyways since we would be charged and was very let down by the staff. Our bed broke (which is bad to begin with) then they promised to fix it in 10 minutes...it never got fixed. We asked for linens...never got those either.

The pop hostel was easy to find, the rooms were clean and tidy. The hostel has free use of internet and a common area. The breakfast was basic but there was plenty of it and good kitchen facilities as well. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

One night-stay and a great time! The location is "secure" already, because it's almost impossible to tell from the outside, that there is a hostel inside... Staff was great. Very nice people. Breakfast was good, nothing special. The pub crawl was kinda fun, but a rip-off in my eyes.

Free internet access was helpful, included breakfast was also nice for my early departure time. Also, located in what I think is the best neighborhood in Madrid. My only problem was finding it at first!! There were three #18 Espiritu Santo...the hostel is the door furthest to the left (the one that is not the Alimentacion nor the clothing store...).

it was a nice place in a good part of town. only downsides was the disco taboo that was next door was pretty loud when people are trying to sleep but i rarely came home before 5am so it didnt affect me to much. besides they did everything in their power to make sure pop hostel´s quiet times stayed a quiet time. i will vist again

Tiny kitchen and eating area. Great to have bathrooms in the room but they are tiny too. Provided breakfast was great. Although smoking was prohibited (signs everywhere) guests and staff continued to smoke inside. Computers were slow and crap but free. Recomended to all travelling to Madrid.
