had a twin room, which was great as I didnt fancy sharing with strangers. very clean. usual london noise. lack of soap in loos was disappointing though carole, from England ~ 16th Apr 2013

Smart Russel Square is very cheap and 2 minutes walk to Russel Square Underground. I like the hostel but there was 2 people staying there who were asking for alms. I haven't felt safe there. There was a luggage keeping room (they charge £1 for 1 bag/1 day) but they don't take responsibility if a stealing or something happen. Mahmut Murat, from Turkey ~ 31st Jan 2013

Very good price in nice central London location, stayed only one Saturday Night and managed to get some sleep (but I'm a light sleeper) Clean and spacious with no queues for stuff even though it seemed quite full. Major disadvantage was the noise from corridors coming into rooms so not great for a Saturday night Points to note: If you're at all above average Western male height the beds will be too short.
