Staff are miserable, ungrateful, unhelpful & rude. No free wifi (head to Salad Hut restaurant/bar on the beach). The rooms look visually clean, but expect to be sharing with cockroaches & lizards, and not to be made up for 5 days. There is very little in Haad Salad, a few overpriced convenience stores (no 7 Eleven nearby), restaurants and a relatively nice beach. Mind your feet though as the sand under the water is full of sharp rocks. The food is reasonable quality and cheap. Caleb, from England ~ 14th Apr 2013

It was so boring and the room we where in smelled like basement and the toilet smelled like cloak! The straff looked like we were annoying them when we asked for something.. Not a Nice place to stay, but the Beach and the restaurants are very nice!! Camilla, from Denmark ~ 9th Mar 2011

Don't expect anything from the staff at this location. If you stay less than 4 days they do not clean your room. We stayed for 8 days and it was bit of a project to get them to clean our bungalow. It felt like we were annoying them just by asking for anything, new towels (which smelled horrible btw), broom to wipe the sand off our porch, laundry etc. The only good thing about this place is it's proximity to beutiful Salad beach. Nice setting and bungalows, mostly young crowd. Unfortunately they don't clean your room if you stay les s than 4 days and be prepared to pay for toilet paper. No wifi in rooms so you need to connect from reception and pay even if you have your own pc. The great point is that you have a lovely Beachjust 1 min. away. Loredana, from Italy ~ 26th Oct 2010
