The staff member who was there when we dropped off our bags was tremendously helpful.She was friendly and gave us the map of the area, pointed out a good place for lunch and was just great.The bartender was not quite so helpful, and the food was a bit overpriced, but all in all it was a good place to sleep. The hostel was great - clean, secure and the staff were very friendly. However, maybe it's the season there, but there were not a lot of people and the vibes and atmosphere were not as cool as some of the other hostels I've been to. Absolutely brilliant setup for the lone traveller. I cycled down to the hague along the LF1 from Schiphol airport on the 1st day of my holiday. Once checked in there is some great nightlife to be found nearby! Much better hostel and location than anything in the overated and increasingly expensive Amsterdam most of the UK tourists seem to favour. Also great cycle storage facilites in a centrally heated basement behind many secure doors. I cannot recommend this hostel highly enough! Derek Stanley, from England ~ 21st Sep 2012
