Takama Guest House in Nara, Japan

A bit annoying to find with the loose directions. The owner spoke poor English but did have a map handy, so we found everything we asked for eventually. Nara is worth the visit. Justin, from Canada ~ 2nd Aug 2012

The owner was very friendly, but he barely knew any English. And although it was obvious I couldn't speak Japanese, he explained all the house rules and facilities in rapid Japanese. Also, the directions to the hostel on their site is wrong and very confusing. I eventually had 2 workers from a bus station find the hostel on their smartphones and were kind enough to escort me all the way to the hostel. Sarah, from USA ~ 29th Jul 2012
