room and toilet was spacious & clean, the owner was very friendly & helpful and location was great. It is more like a B&B than a hostel. definitely value for money.

"Under the Tower" is situated in one of the buildings in the "old-city" (in Europe these building usually have bigger rooms and high ceilings), VERY close to the tower (about 100m). The owner is offering a shuttle service form the airport for 10 euro - it is cheaper than a taxi, but those that seek a very cheep transportation can use a bus for only 1 euro. Room 1 (3 single beds) and Room 2 (1 double + 1 single bed) share a bathroom. Room 4 (4 beds) has its own bathroom. Rooms are very simil

Best lcation in town and very friendly staff. Good value too. Would definitely recommend this place. Pisa is a one night town though as there is only realy one square to see.

Great location, we could see the tower from our window. Very safe area, good restaurants. The hostels manager is terrific and did whatever he could to make our stay wonderful.

This hostel was great...within steps of the leaning tower of pisa...excellent restaurant...clean rooms...quiet location...extremely friendly and informative staff. I would stay there again and will recommend this hostel to family and friends.

Ignoring the can of RAID (!) which was pulled from our room as we walked in, the location cant be beat, air conditioning, free Wifi, brand new bathrooms... definitely a good place to stay!
