we had a room in the basement at the front of the building, so it wasnt really easy to ventilate the room although we were just 4 it was needed. the dark carpet on the floor is always a bit cheeky about cleanliness... the bathroom are big enough although they would need some nails to hang clothing and bathroom supplies and we could also use a bin and maybe a Mirror as well. we had a good surprise with being only 4 in the room instead of a 6-pax one. and the mattress and blanket were confy. clothilde, from France ~ 14th Jun 2013

While the staff were excellent and the beds were clean, the bathrooms were fairly dirty and there was no hot water in the showers. There were lockers in the room which was a plus but almost everything else including Internet and breakfast you had to pay for. The people were also generally older, families or middle aged people there to work... Nice people but not ideal for a young backpacker looking to meet other traveling people. This hostel is very near of the metro station, the hostel sell the tickets for the metro, bus tours and others events. It's is nice! The price of internet, in my opinion, could be more cheap, in special, because in travel you only check your emails and not use a lot oftime. Merilin, from Brazil ~ 1st Mar 2013

Earl's court is right on two tube lines so really easy to get around London. There are washrooms and showers everywhere and clean. The kitchen is clean and has everything you need with two grocery shops down the street. Beds are comfy, bedding clean and the rooms are warm and not drafty. Faults: don't bother with the breakfast (continental and full) not worth the money. - not enough seating/tables in the kitchen. - have to pay for the Internet - there is wifi. 50p for 10 minutes. I had a great experience at the Earls Court Hostel. The rooms were very clean and not too crowded. There are large lockers and they sell locks if you don't have one, I felt very safe. The beds were more sturdy than most other hostels I've stayed in, plenty of space and they even had individual reading lights in each bed. It's also in a good location close to the tube station and a lot of bars and restaurants. The only thing that would have made it perfect would be free WiFi. Loren, from USA ~ 24th Nov 2012

The staff were really helpful to me. I left my ipad on my bed when I left the hostel and I thought that it would most definitely be gone by the time I came back to London. However, it was in safe and trustworthy hands. This I found to be excellent. Megan, from Botswana ~ 19th Oct 2012

The staff was very kind and the hostel is in a very good location. I stayed here only for one night before moving down the street to Lee Abbey, but it was a relaxing stay. The area itself is very nice(and very expensive). My only gripe is that the price for wifi usage was a little steep. However, I would definitely recommend this hostel for others needing to stay in the Kensington area. Nicholas, from USA ~ 24th Jun 2012
