The hostel is very close to the TaiPowver subway station (about 5min walk). It is quite a small and cozy place, the location itselfis very convenient for visiting the nearby night market. The only problem is that the three rooms downstairs (8 bed mix, 4 female, and another one) are in the basement level and do not have windows, air ventilation is only through AC. The one thing that made me feel like this hostel was designed to be a hostel (compared to many others which are simply converted into one) is the availability of electric outlets next to every bunk bed (even the upper bunks!). That's thoughtful, thank you! Hui Tse, from Malaysia ~ 12th Apr 2013

Good place to stay. The room/bed was clean. Perhaps the hostel room could be made brighter through light color paint. It was in a short walking distance to Shi-Da night market and dining was very convenient. The room I stayed was quiet and free from outside noise. Among several hostels I stayed in Taipei, this one definitely was a better one. Will definitely consider staying at this hostel again in the future. Chingshun, from USA ~ 3rd Apr 2013

Extremely happy with everything provided at the Cats Pajamas. Great vibe, the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Met plenty of new friends and got to experience Taiwanese nightlife with people from the Cats Pajamas. 5/5 would visit again. Shin, from Australia ~ 28th Feb 2013

I loved my stay in Cat's Pajamas. I am typically not a hostel person, but staying there felt like home pretty soon and I was sad when I had to leave. The atmosphere with the staff was family-like, the beds were very comfortable and the showers and washroom facilities were clean and always available. it's really nearby the mrt station and market, staffs are friendly, nice people there. i'd stay in tcp next time i visit taipei. all things were clean, and especially, i could use Korean keyboard, and the speed of the computer was really fast, which was so important for me.
