Very nice family run bussines, had a great time, a very nice experience, good breakfast and all. centrally located a lot of bars in the neighbourhood, thank you Ville Merry.

The location is great for a view of the Nam Kan river and the southern side of Mount Phu Si. However, this does mean a 5-10 minute walk to the main road and Mekong. A member of staff was always on site and rooms clean. If you can stretch to a deluxe or superior room the view and lack of early wake up calls from cockerals is worth it! Breakfast simple but pleasant and evening attendant attentive and helpful.

I stayed here one night only as our room's window was directly in front of a rooster pen. The roosters crowed all night long! The room was not clean and had some moisture issues in various areas. Also, there is a bar called the Hive right across the street. In the end this wasn't a problem for us because we went to bed after the music was over, but the bass in the bar is quite high and so you feel the booming when you are in your room. We only stayed for one night and then moved to the Rama Hote

Good spot - opposite a bar, but as everything in Laos shuts down at 11.30pm not really a problem. Breakfast was very good - usual selection of eggs and bread, but a big bowl of fruit as well. Proprieter a very nice man who speaks quite good English.
