The hostel was very clean, and i had no problems sleeping on a night. Its a good place to get your head down. I relised from other reviews it was a little out of town. But even with my long legs, it takes 20-25 minutes to walk to the market square from the hostel. Also relised that trams finish running at 11pm, and dont start again till 7am. I had an early train to catch so had to pay 25 zlts from the hostel to the train station.... Postives are that greg took me to a jazz night on first night, the breakfasts are filling. the beds are comfortable. the kitchen is modern and so are the bathrooms. But consider there is only 2 showers for the entire hostel so it can be a squeeze and a rush on a morning..... i stayed four nights and worked out that i spend 40zlts on traveling back and fourth to town....

Hosts were most accommodating. Had a great time exploring Magic Town and will definitely stay at Elephant next time around...Bigos were phenomenal and thanks for the great jazz trip out, Greg!!!

The location makes for a nice walk into town in the mornings. Staff is super helpful (and nice) and always have suggestions for things to do. And I even got a packed lunch (food for the train!) when I left. I'll definately be staying there on my next trip to Krakow (hopefully in January)
Extremely clean, very nicely furnished. In a quiet neighborhood about a 20 minute walk away from the town center. The walk is fine without your stuff, but don\'t do it with your luggage! Take the tram, or if you\'re in a group pay the hostel to come pick you up.

welcomed like part of the family. even got a little packed lunch when i left. awesome. a bit out of town but easy on the trams. thanks guys.
